Friday Evening

A few Mount supported Bootham and heard the history of Penn House (purchased for a nominal sum from The Rowntree family) in the 1920's who had lived in as a family. A tour of the lovely building now about to be sold and become a family home again.

Saturday

AGM-Sincere thanks  to our out going President, Christine Johnson who has been always so supportive of MOSA and has in her term of office instigated both The Presidents Board and The Headmistress/Principal Board. We are truly grateful for her continuing support. Our new President Cathy Killick to some known as "Look North" and soon to have a daughter at MSY. We welcome her, already she has attended our Executive meetings.

Saturday Evening Dinner at The Race Course

A very happy occasion, Cathy gave her Presidential Address, a lovely mixture of reminiscence and her time in journalism and amusing times at Look North. (her speech will be in full in our new MOSA Magazine due out in January)

Sunday

Morning meeting at The Mount, well  attended followed by a show round of the boarding houses, wonderfully hosted by the boarders and answering all manner of questions. This was followed by a very nice lunch and again the girls were superb hostesses.

Altogether a very successful weekend with plenty of old and younger O.S. around
